Dr. Ali Rezai is a board-certified neurosurgeon at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. He is also a professor in the department of Neurological Surgery and Department of Neuroscience at the Ohio State University College of Medicine. His clinical areas of expertise are the neurosurgical management of patients with severe movement disorders such as Parkinson’s disease, dystonia, tremor, psychiatric conditions such as depression and obsessive compulsive disorder, traumatic brain injury (TBI) and chronic pain. Research interests include neuromodulation therapies to treat migraine headaches, asthma, addictions, Alzheimer’s, obesity, post-traumatic stress disorders, TBI and autism. Dr. Rezai is past the President of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, which is one of the largest neurosurgical societies in the world and the North American Neuromodulation Society (NANS). He serves on the editorial board of five journals including Neurogsurgery, and has published more than 130 peer-reviewed articles and more than 20 book chapters. Dr. Rezai received his medical degree from the University of Southern California.
